The HMC-FD series was created to address a clear need for maximizing hold times of fried and crispy coated products. Keeping these crisp products held at optimum temperature and texture for service allows for batch cooking and staging prior to key rush periods.
The long wave infrared elements are positioned to keep product within the ideal range to keep the outside coating crisp, while maintaining internal temperature and moisture of items like fried chicken and French fries. The HMC-FD series was designed from the ground-up to be easier to clean and maintain than any market competition.
Hot & Ready to Grab
FWE’s HMC-FD series utilize a unique long-wave infrared heating element which provide vastly superior and extended holding times. This type of heating system pierces naturally occurring air pockets from heated foods and keeps the products warm from the inside, while also maintaining its ideal crispy exterior.
Scoop, Portion, Store & Serve
This unit’s open layout is a key component to its ability to work in fast paced operations. Users can easily scoop, portion, store, and serve from within their station to keep pace with the rest of their team.
Easy Versatility & Capacity
The holding compartment accommodates industry standard 12″x20″x4″ hotel pans for increased versatility and capacity. These also include specially engineered elevated pan Inserts that hold products at the optimal height for our heating elements to preserve the food at its highest quality.
Individual cubbies separate orders for easy identification. Optional see-thru Lexan doors available for simplified cubby labeling
Clear pick-up location eases in-store customer traffic and prevents bottlenecks.
