DESCRIPTION

TST-SL Series - Top Mount Side Load Heated Holding Cabinets:
Experience unrivaled versatility and performance with the TST-SL Series Top Mount Side Load Heated Holding Cabinets by FWE. These cabinets are designed to adapt to your ever-changing kitchen needs, accommodating a wide variety of containers on adjustable shelves and tray slides.

1. Adjustable Shelving and Tray Slides: The ultra-flexible TST-SL Series can accommodate a wide range of containers. Tray slides are adjustable to change with your operation, each set capable of holding one shelf or one 18x26 tray. Each shelf can accommodate four GN1/3 pans, making this cabinet an adaptable addition to your kitchen.

2. Even Heating Distribution: FWE's Top Mount TST-SL Series ensures your dishes are consistently warm with its gentle circulation of hot air throughout the interior. Hot and cold spots are eliminated, preserving the quality of your culinary creations.

3. Fast Recovery and Self-Closing Hinges: Peak service times are no match for the TST-SL Series. These cabinets feature fast recovery, returning to the set temperature quickly. Self-closing hinges help retain heat, ensuring your dishes remain warm even during frequent door openings.

4. Easy Maintenance and Cleaning: Our top-mounted elements are protected from spills, leaving the bottom of the cabinet open for easy cleaning. This design reduces maintenance and cleaning costs, ensuring your cabinet is always in top condition.

5. User-Friendly Electronic Control: The TST-SL Series is equipped with a simple-to-use electronic control panel that's user-friendly, easy to read, and easy to set. You can set temperatures in the range of 90°F to 190°F (32°C to 88°C), and the cabinet comes with a low-temperature alarm for added convenience.

6. Tri-Directional AC Cord Pocket: Place the unit anywhere with ease. All units come with a tri-directional AC cord pocket, allowing for flexible plug placement, ensuring it fits seamlessly into your kitchen layout.

SHORT FORM SPEC

Specified unit shall be FWE Model No. TST-7SL, Heated Holding Cabinets.

CONSTRUCTION. Heliarc welded, single unit construction of stainless steel; 20 gauge polished exterior, 22 gauge stainless steel interior with easy-to-clean coved corners. Welded tubular base frame shall be 1" square, heavy gauge stainless steel tubing, with 10 gauge stainless steel reinforcing plates at corners.

INSULATION. Insulated throughout; top, back, bottom, sides, doors using high density ceramic and fiberglass insulation.

HANDLES. Form grip flush-in-wall hand grips recess mounted on each side of unit.

DOORS AND LATCHES. Flush mounted, stainless steel insulated doors shall be selfclosing and field reversible. High temperature gasket sealed; gasket shall be cabinet mounted. Magnetic work flow door handle shall be full length, vertical, and positive closing. TST-7SL is standard with horizontal work flow handle. Each door shall have two (2) heavyduty edgemount die cast hinges. TST-22SL shall be standard with dutch doors. Dutch door: two (2) half size doors.

CASTERS. TST-22SL shall have 5" Polyurethane tire non-marking casters. TST-7SL shall have 2" TPR tire non-marking casters. Casters shall be in a configuration of four (4) swivel with brake. The caster mounting plate shall be secured to a 10 gauge stainless steel reinforcing stress plate via welded in place stainless steel studs. The reinforcing stress plates shall be welded to the heavy gauge tubular frame of the unit

TRAY SLIDES. Stainless steel tray slides are fully adjustable / removable and designed to give secure bottom tray support. Removable stainless steel uprights shall be punched on 2.5" (63.5mm) spacing for easy tray/ pan adjustment, and shall easily lift off of heavy-duty, stainless steel brackets without the use of tools. Each pair of tray slides shall accommodate: one (1) 18" x 26" tray or one (1) 18" x 26" wire shelf.

HEATING SYSTEM/CONTROLS. Top mounted, forced air blower system shall include Hi-Temp, self-lubricated, impedance protected, fan-cooled blower motor to distribute heat equally throughout cabinet interior with distribution tunnels shall be vented for balanced air circulation. Electronic controls shall include an easy to read digital display of cabinet temperature (with recall capacity of temperature set point and actual cabinet temperature), equipped with a programmable low temperature alarm, master ON/OFF switch with power indicator light. Adjustable temperature range from 90°F to 190°F (32°C to 88°C).

ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS. 3 wire grounded tri-directional power cord and plug, rear mounted for safety. See electrical data chart above for amperage and receptacle configuration. See electrical chart for models that require a dedicated circuit.

INSTALLATION. Unit should not be installed in an area where adverse environmental conditions are present.
