DESCRIPTION

ETC-1826 Series - Non-Insulated Enclosed Transport Cabinets
Reliable, Durable, and Designed for Secure Meal Transport

1. Heavy-Duty Construction for Secure Transport
The ETC-1826 Series is built for efficient meal transport and storage, featuring stainless steel, heliarc-welded construction with a reinforced tubular base frame. Designed to absorb vibration and shock, these units ensure safe and stable transport in demanding foodservice environments.

2. Versatile Tray and Pan Compatibility
Each unit features a fixed one-piece stainless steel rack, accommodating 18" x 26" sheet pans or 14" x 18" trays. The removable design allows for easy cleaning and maintenance, ensuring long-term usability in high-volume settings.

3. Enhanced Protection with Full-Perimeter Bumper
To prevent damage to both the unit and surrounding areas, the ETC-1826 Series includes a full-perimeter bumper that extends beyond the doors, handles, and frame, providing added protection during transport and storage.

4. Ergonomic Push Handles for Easy Maneuverability
Equipped with heavy-duty tubular push/pull handles, these cabinets offer greater user control and effortless transport, even when fully loaded. The strategically placed handles allow for secure gripping and easy navigation through tight spaces.

The ETC-1826 Series features heavy-duty polyurethane casters, designed for smooth mobility and long-lasting durability. The combination of swivel and rigid casters ensures stability and ease of movement, even in high-traffic foodservice environments.

6. Temperature Retention Features for Hot and Cold Holding
Each unit comes with an insulated stainless steel door and high-temperature gasket, providing enhanced temperature retention for both hot and cold food products. Operators can also add an optional cold plate cartridge to keep food chilled during transport.

ETC-1826-11 - Non-Insulated Enclosed Transport Cabinet (11 Tray Capacity)
The ETC-1826-11 is designed to securely transport and store up to 11 trays or sheet pans (18" x 26" or 14" x 18"), providing a durable and efficient solution for high-volume foodservice operations. Agency Approvals
NSF - NSF International (formerly known as the National Sanitation Foundation) is an independent, non-profit organization that certifies food service equipment and ensures it is designed and constructed in a way that promotes food safety. FWE products that meet these standards bear the NSF mark.
You may also see a designation that a product meets NSF/ANSI, which adds rules from the American National Standards Institute to the testing. ANSI works closely with NSF to develop its food safety standards and complete testing to those.

Slides and Shelves
Fixed Slides for 18x26 Trays - Fixed slides accommodate 18" x 26" or 14" x 18" trays. Unique pan slide racks' front edges are relieved for easy loading, one piece die stamped stainless steel for extra strength, and removable for easy cleaning

OPTIONS & ACCESSORIES

Bumpers
Full Bumper - Heavy duty full perimeter bumper extends beyond doors and handles for added protection. The bumper is mounted to the base frame for added durability - the bumper is not used as the base frame. In this way, the bumper absorbs all the shock in transport, protecting the integrity of the construction.
Top Corner Bumpers - Top corner bumpers are a good option for those customers not needing the protection of a full bumper, but still require protection for walls and surrounding equipment.
Caster
All Swivel Casters - All swivel casters allow for greater maneuverability. Great for tight turns or severe corners (such as on and off trucks or narrow hallways).
A drawback to the all swivel configuration is that it is harder to control the direction of the equipment when rolled in a straight line.

SHORT FORM SPEC

Specified unit shall be FWE Model No. ETC-1826-11, Enclosed Transport Cabinets.

CONSTRUCTION. Heliarc welded, single unit construction of stainless steel; 18 gauge polished exterior with easy-to-clean coved corners. Welded tubular base frame shall be 1 square, heavy gauge stainless steel tubing, with 10 gauge stainless steel reinforcing plates at corners.

HANDLES. Heavy-duty, 1 diameter tubular stainless steel push bar handles mounted at each end of the unit. ETC-1826-7 model shall have recessed handles.

BUMPERS. Solid 1.5 wide continuous wraparound aluminum channel, bolted to frame with snap-in, non-marking vinyl cushion. Full perimeter bumper extends beyond doors, handles, etc., for added protection. Shall be continuous, with corner cut-outs to facilitate cleaning. ETC-1826-7 is standard without a bumper.

CASTERS. Maintenance free polyurethane tire casters in a configuration of two (2) rigid and two (2) swivel with brake. ETC-1826-30 shall have a caster configuration of two (2) rigid, four (4) swivel with brake. ETC-1826-7 shall have a caster configuration of four (4) swivel with brake. Casters shall have a reinforced yoke mounted to 10 gauge caster plate. The caster mounting plate shall be secured to a 10 gauge stainless steel reinforcing stress plate via welded in place stainless steel studs. The reinforcing stress plates shall be welded to the heavy gauge tubular frame of the unit.

DOORS AND LATCHES. Flush mounted, field reversible, stainless steel insulated doors. High temperature gasket sealed; gasket shall be cabinet mounted. Each door shall have two (2) heavy-duty edgemount die cast hinges. Door latch shall be edgemounted, full grip, and positive closing. The hinge and latch mountings are reinforced with stainless steel backing plates. ETC-1826-17HDP is provided standard with magnetic edgemount door latches.

FIXED RACK. Removable pair of one piece stainless steel racks with fixed spacing f 3" between pan slides. Each pan slide accommodates one (1) 18" x 26" or two 2) 14" x 18". One piece rack is easy to remove without the use of tools for cleaning

INSTALLATION. Unit should not be installed in an area where adverse environmental conditions are present.
