ETC-1418-INS Series - Non-Heated, Insulated Patient Tray Delivery Cabinets

The ETC-1418-INS Series by FWE offers a durable, quiet, and efficient solution for transporting patient meals in healthcare settings. With insulated, non-heated cabinets, these carts are ideal for serving hot and cold foods together using a variety of containers, from pellet systems to disposable trays.

Bumpers
Top Bumper - Top mounted heavy duty full perimeter bumper extends beyond doors and handles for added protection during transport.
Caster
All Swivel Casters - All swivel casters allow for greater maneuverability. Great for tight turns or severe corners (such as on and off trucks or narrow hallways).
A drawback to the all swivel configuration is that it is harder to control the direction of the equipment when rolled in a straight line.
Center Floor Lock - Undercarriage lock-down keeps mobile equipment securely in place by gently lifting the unit high enough so the casters do not touch the ground.
Must be used with 6" casters.
Doors
Pass Through Doors - Pass-thru doors create a convenient connection from preparation side to serving areas. With access from both sides of the cabinet staff is free to focus on customers, taking more orders and serving carry-outs during peak meal times
See-Thru Lexan Doors - See-thru lexan door provides high visability for hot and fresh items

Tubular Push Handles - Heavy duty stainless steel push pull handles are secured to the unit with reinforced backing plate. Ergonomically designed to be easy on the hands

SHORT FORM SPEC

CONSTRUCTION. Heliarc welded, single unit construction of stainless steel; 20 gauge polished exterior, 22 gauge stainless steel interior with easy-to-clean coved corners. Welded tubular base frame shall be 1" square, heavy gauge stainless steel tubing, with 10 gauge stainless steel reinforcing plates at corners.

INSULATION. "Ultra-Guard" UG-26 high density fiberglass insulation throughout; top, back, bottom, sides, and door(s).

HANDLES. Heavy-duty push bar handles, solid formed 1" x .375" thick; mounted at each end of unit. Mountings reinforced with stainless steel channel.

BUMPER. Solid 1.5" wide continuous wraparound aluminum channel, bolted to frame, with snap-in, non-marking replaceable vinyl cushion. Full perimeter bumper extends beyond doors, handles, etc., for added protection. Shall be continuous, with corner cut-outs to facilitate cleaning.

DOORS AND LATCHES. Flush mounted, stainless steel insulated doors. High temperature gasket sealed; gasket shall be cabinet mounted. Each door shall have two (2) heavy-duty edgemount die cast hinges reinforced with stainless steel backing plates. Each door shall be equipped with a positive closing, flush-in-door, antimicrobial SaniGuard magnetic door handle.

CASTERS. Quiet ride multi-terrain casters in a configuration of two (2) rigid and two (2) swivel with brake. Casters shall have a reinforced yoke mounted to 10 gauge caster plate. The caster mounting plate shall be secured to a 10 gauge stainless steel reinforcing stress plate via welded in place stainless steel studs. The reinforcing stress plates shall be welded to the heavy gauge tubular frame of the unit.

TRAY SLIDES. Unitized tray slide assemblies shall be heavy gauge stainless steel, channels fixed in place at 5.25" spacings. Assemblies are designed to accommodate one (1) 14"x18", one (1) 15"x20" or two (2) 10"x14" trays. Removable stainless steel tray racks shall easily lift off of heavy duty stainless steel supports without the use of tools. Racks with custom tray spacings are available at time of order (consult factory).

INSTALLATION. Unit should not be installed in an area where adverse environmental conditions are present.
