What is the SNF Equipment Grant?
The School Nutrition Foundation (SNF) Equipment Grant is a vital initiative established by the School Nutrition Association (SNA) to support school nutrition professionals in enhancing their meal programs. Recognizing the critical role of school nutrition in student health and learning, this grant provides financial assistance to educational institutions aiming to modernize their kitchens and improve food service infrastructure.
Through the SNF Equipment Grant, schools can acquire new kitchen equipment, upgrade aging appliances, or implement advanced technologies that streamline meal preparation and delivery. These improvements help schools serve healthier, fresher meals to students, ensuring that nutrition remains a cornerstone of their academic success.

FWE was honored to participate in the SNF Equipment Grant, awarding $25,000 to the McMinnville School District in McMinnville, OR. Our team collaborated closely with the district to identify the best equipment to support their school nutrition program, and we’re excited to see the transformative impact it will have on their operations.
After careful consultation, the grant funds were allocated to purchase multiple UHST-13P units. These units are designed to ensure hot, fresh, and high-quality meals are served efficiently to students while maintaining food safety and nutritional value.
